We are delighted to announce details of the much-anticipated 2nd edition coming up during the long vacation (summer holidays).

The Teachers Training Certification (TTC) program will hold across the 3 Southern regions of Nigeria starting from August 19th – September 7th 2024. Here’s a breakdown of the regions and their dates:

  • South-South (Tagged Port Harcourt edition) covering all teachers, schools, and administrators from all the states in the south south: August 19 -24
  • South-East (Tagged Owerri edition) covering teachers, schools, and administrators from all the south eastern states: August 26 – 31.
  • South-West (Tagged Lagos edition) covering teachers, schools, and administrators from the south west states: September 2- 7.

 

The Program:
The TTC is a 10-module, 5-day intensive continuous learning refresher course that will expose participants to:
– New curriculum.
– Latest teaching delivery skills, methods, and tools.
– New methodology in lesson plan, note writing, etc.
– Handling special needs learners, child safety in class and playground.
– Latest AI teaching and online tools.

Some of the topics to cover include:
– Theory of multiple intelligence and application in the classroom.
– The Science of Reading: Building Blocks to Effective Early Reading Instruction.
– Effective use of instructional materials in the classroom, among many more.

This one-week course will cover (but not be limited to) the full scope using the EYFS:

Who is the Program for?:
The TTC is primed to improve learning and delivery by building the capacity of resource persons in the early years to primary school cadre of the basic education school system:
– Teachers.
– Teaching assistants.
– Curriculum developers.
– School administrators.

The Teachers Training Certification is a Train-The-Trainers program of EmployMe E-Learning in partnership with 9 state universal basic education commission boards (SUBEC) and select early years schools in each region with the 2024 edition tagged: RUP 2024.

Time:
– Morning sessions: 9 am – 11 am
– Evening sessions: 6 pm – 8 pm
– Class can also agree on a convenient timing.

– Online via Zoom (sessions will also be recorded for those who miss out)

Study Work:
– Class work, assignments, projects, results, and certificates will be conducted by participants on the EmployMe school portal.
