The 2024 travel consultant training will commence early on ahead of the usual ‘summer time’ calendar in previous editions this is to enable participants take part and have first hand learning experience in Travels & Tours this summer (June – September).

This year’s edition will largely comprise of:

– Only online class

with

– A 60-90 days internship period at partner travel agencies.

This mode is to enable participants gain theoretical knowledge and a further hands on practical experience at reputable travel & tour agency during the summer for a complete 360 learning experience.

The curriculum will cover:
– Introduction to travel consulting, travels & tours, understanding basic terms, travel languages, codes:
– IATA codes
– Industry terminologies and terns.
– Encoding and deciding aviation industry codes.
– City, Airport, reservation and booking codes.
– Geography of travels and tours.
– GDS training
-Amadeus.
-Sabre.
-Galileo.
(Participant chose one GDS).

Travels & Tours detailed: this comprehensive package will cover:
– Obtaining travel document.
– Visa processing
– obtaining Visa, Passport, health insurance, yellow card, Covid19 document etc.
– Tour, cruise, hotel, vacation, car rentals, group, business and religious tours packaging.

This session is all encompassing and will equip participants with not only theory and practical experiences but network and contacts in the travel industry seeing this is an industry that works on collaboration and partnership.

Upon registration, participant will have access to the school portal, download the study modules, read up ahead of the class. Class starts and lessons taken via zoom (also recorded for those who may miss any session).

Others including post program resource materials, assessment and certificates issuance conducted on the portal.
